Partner agency terms

These terms are an agreement between Roy & Associates Limited (“RightUni”, “we”) and the business that joins RightUni as a partner agency (“you”). RightUni is operated by Roy & Associates Limited. You accept these terms when you set the password for your agency account, and we record the date and the version you accepted (this version: 2026-10-20). The person who accepts them confirms they are allowed to do so for the agency. These terms are for businesses only.

1. Words we use

  • Lead: a student’s details, shared with you when the student chooses your agency and taps Share.
  • Credit: a prepaid unit. One credit pays for one lead.
  • Listing: your agency’s card, shown to students on the universities you represent.
  • Portal: the RightUni agency website where you see your leads, credits and profile.

2. Joining and vetting

  • You apply with the form on For agencies. Before approving you, we check your trade licence, office address, website and proof that you officially represent each university you name. We decide whether to approve you, and we don’t have to give reasons.
  • Everything you tell us must be true and complete, and must stay true. Tell us within 7 days if your licence, offices, contact details or official link with a university change or end.
  • We list you only for the universities and countries we have checked. Only we can add or remove them.
  • You get one login. Keep its password secret. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

3. Your listing

  • Students see your listing only on the universities you represent, labelled “Partner agency”. We tell students that partner agencies pay RightUni.
  • Listings are shown in random order every time. We never rank or promote an agency because of what it pays.
  • Your listing is hidden while you have no credits, while it is paused, and while your account is suspended.
  • If three different students report your agency within 30 days, your listing is paused automatically until we review it.
  • Your profile must be accurate. Don’t claim things you can’t prove, such as guaranteed offers, visas or scholarships.

4. Credits and payment

  • You buy credits in prepaid packs at the prices on For agencies. Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). We can agree to take payment in another currency.
  • To buy, email agencies@rightuni.co.uk with the pack you want. We send an invoice and our bank details or a payment link. We add the credits to your account once your payment arrives.
  • When a credit is used: one credit is used when a student shares their details with your agency for the first time. If the same student later shares another university with you, no further credit is used.
  • Leads are final. We don’t accept disputes about lead quality, and a credit isn’t returned because a student doesn’t answer, changes their mind or withdraws. We may return a credit only if we find the lead was fraudulent, such as a fake or duplicate student. That decision is ours.
  • Expiry: credits expire 12 months after they are added to your account. Trial credits expire 90 days after they are added. Credits we return for fraud expire 12 months after they are returned. The credits that expire soonest are used first. We email you when your balance falls to 3 and to 0.
  • No refunds. Credits are not refundable and can’t be exchanged for money, including if you leave RightUni or we remove your agency.
  • We don’t promise any number of leads, or that any lead will become a client.

5. How you must treat students

  • Contact a student only by the method they chose (email, WhatsApp or phone call), and only about the application they asked for help with.
  • When a student withdraws, stop contacting them straight away. We tell you in the portal and by email.
  • Don’t make misleading claims, including about offers, visas, scholarships, fees, or your link with a university or with RightUni.
  • Don’t ask a student for money before you have given them clear written terms that set out your service and all your fees.
  • Follow the law that applies to you and to the student, including consumer, advertising, data protection and immigration-advice rules in your country and theirs.
  • Never ask students for their RightUni password, vault passphrase or recovery key.
  • You are responsible for your own advice, service and fees. RightUni is not part of your agreement with any student.

If you mislead students, take money unfairly or ignore a withdrawal, we may remove your agency straight away, without a refund of any credits.

6. Students’ personal data

  • When a student shares their details with you, you and RightUni are each a separate, independent controller of that data. We are not your processor and you are not ours.
  • Use a lead only to help that student with the applications they asked about. Never use it for anything else, such as marketing other services.
  • Never sell, rent or pass a lead to anyone else, including other agencies or partners.
  • Keep leads secure, and let only the staff who need them see them.
  • Delete a student’s data when they ask you to, or when you no longer need it to help them, unless the law requires you to keep it.
  • Answer students’ requests about their data yourself, and follow the data protection law that applies to you.
  • Tell us at agencies@rightuni.co.uk without undue delay, and in any case within 72 hours, if you have a security breach that affects data you received through RightUni.

We handle your own staff’s and agency’s data as described in our privacy policy.

7. Reports, pauses, suspension and removal

  • Students can report an agency. We review reports and may dismiss them, pause your listing, suspend your account or remove your agency.
  • You can pause and resume your listing yourself on your profile page. An automatic pause after reports is lifted only by us.
  • We may suspend or remove your agency straight away if you break these terms, if what you told us stops being true, if students are at risk, or if the law requires it. Suspending or removing an agency ends its sessions straight away.

8. Ending this agreement

  • You can leave at any time by emailing agencies@rightuni.co.uk. We then remove your listing and your access.
  • We can end this agreement for any reason by giving you 30 days’ notice by email, or straight away as set out in section 7.
  • When the agreement ends, unused credits are not refunded. Sections 4 (no refunds), 6, 9 and 11 still apply.

9. Responsibility and limits

  • We provide the portal and listings with reasonable care and skill. We don’t promise they will always be available or free of errors.
  • We are not responsible for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or opportunity, or for any indirect loss, however it arises.
  • Apart from the cases below, our total responsibility to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us for credits in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
  • You are responsible for, and will repay us for, losses and reasonable costs we suffer because of your breach of section 5 or 6, including claims by students or regulators.
  • Nothing in these terms limits anyone’s responsibility for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow to be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will email you at least 30 days before a change takes effect, unless we must make it sooner for legal or safety reasons. If you don’t agree, you can leave before the change takes effect (section 8). If you keep using the portal after that date, the new terms apply.

11. General

  • These terms, with the prices on For agencies, are the whole agreement between us about RightUni.
  • You are not our agent, partner or employee, and you must not say you are. You may describe yourself as a “RightUni partner agency”.
  • You may not transfer this agreement to anyone else without our written agreement.
  • We send notices to your account’s email address. Send notices to us at agencies@rightuni.co.uk.
  • If a court decides part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
